Biography

I am currently a Production Engineer at Meta on PE Security team, specifically a PE Uber Technical Lead on Security Foundations teams focusing on cryptography, hardware security module, and key management systems. On a broader scope, I also work on authentication services, authorization services, code signing, and public key infrastructure. Production Engineering at Meta is a hybrid between software and systems engineering, who works within Meta’s product and infrastructure teams to ensure our services are reliable, scalable, efficient, and secure.

I received the B.S. degree, summa cum laude, in Electrical Engineering from Portland State University in 2012 and the M.S. degree in Computer and Information Science from the University of Pennsylvania in 2018. After graduation from PSU, I joined Intel Corporation in Vietnam as a Process & Equipment Engineer (2012-2013), where I also served as a Technical Supervisor (2013-2014) and a Data Analyst (2014-2015). During my stay at Penn, I was a Research Assistant under the supervision of Dr. Insup Lee, and a member of the PRECISE Center.
